In an interview with us, Mr. Midhat (Ceo – ABCO SEALS Abu Ghazaleh L.L.C), we asked a few questions on his life changing, rags to riches story. His replies were truly inspiring, and gave the audience, totally positive vibes and many lessons were learnt from this interview.
Can you recall a key defining moment in your career life?
Joining the family business was a major decision at an early age after graduating from University, I had the choice to join our family business or seek employment somewhere else, I decided to stick with the family.
My father was & is a great mentor who got years of experience in the International trade business, I gained a lot of Business skills, an Ethical approach to conducting business, Customer satisfaction approach, among many other traits under his guidance & I still consult with him on major issues up to now, he is still chairman of our group.
How have you overcome the challenges; the company has presented you with?
Patience is the keyword.
On top of that, there are many instances where any company faces lots of challenges where they were the result of external factors not accounted for, treat your employees & your customers well, they are your major driving force. Adopt an Ethical business approach, be honest, accept others’ ideas, be flexible, pass your knowledge & skill to others.
Considering what you’ve achieved till now, what else do you aspire to achieve?
I wish to create an Online Non-profit training institute, open for all young individuals seeking to learn from real-time experiences before venturing into the business world. They will get quick tips on the do & don’t do approach to avoid falling into major mistakes & lose their dreams to become entrepreneurs.
A College/University degree provides you with the knowledge that must be polished & nurtured to equip all new start-ups to be a venture into the world of business.
