Sana Sajan has proved the world that hard work brings in remarkable success. Belonging to a well-known business tycoon family, medically connected roots, Sana completed her medical graduation at a very young age and started practicing dentistry.
She is known amongst the next Generation business leaders, super 100 Women Achievers from India, Middle East, and Africa. She is also the Brand Ambassador of Dubai Women run 2018 and the Brand Ambassador for Global goals World Cup 2018 supporting Rights to Education and Women Empowerment and the proud owner of American Aesthetic Centre, Dubai.
There seems to be no end to the talents of Sana Sajan. In addition to her art and dental qualification, she also happens to be a former beauty queen representing Bahrain in the Miss India Worldwide pageant in 2010, winning a regional crown. She is always keen to raise awareness and money for the Thalassaemia Centre through her beautiful pieces of Art. Over the past five years Sana has sold more than two dozen of her own pieces – calligraphy and contemporary-style portraits and has donated this money to good causes, including the Thalassaemia Centre and the New Sanaiya Group, a chain of 10 clinics and pharmacies offering low-cost treatment to labourers.
In a discussion over her philanthropic activities, Sana told us that it was not easy to convince workers to take out time from their hectic and tiring schedule. She says, “I go and convince them that education will be beneficial for their future. I tell them how they will speak better, talk better, live better and set good examples for their families and at the same time also get a boost in their career.”
While the interview proceeded towards a lighter note, Sana narrated a few incidences from her personal life but the journey of meeting her husband Mr. Adel Sajan and how their wedding executed was the most interesting part of the interview.
